Resources

Creator: Lottie Titcombe (WFTA Research Intern)

We have created an educational resource for students aged 16-18 that would work perfectly for a 2-hour class on modern history or politics. Based around 4 archival documents hosted in our digital archive, this classroom activity helps students engage in critical thinking, group work, and primary source analysis. It encourages them to consider the influence of the British media in shaping public opinion and political decision-making during the run-up to the British invasion in Iraq in early 2003. Below are all the documents you need as an instructor to guide your students through the classroom activity.

Please let us know if you use these resources in your classroom – we would love to know your students’ response!
